This year, the Manila Improv Festival launches a talk series that seeks to create spaces not just for performance but also for necessary dialogue.

Creating Safe Spaces: Playing Fair in an Unfair World The artistic community is not spared from sexism, racism, misogyny, and the many forms of discrimination. This talk aims to start a conversation around how we can integrate ideas like professionalism, diversity, consent, and inclusivity in theater. The talk will feature panelists including Cam Percy of Brisban and Silvia Perdiguero of Beijing.
