This year, the Manila Improv Festival launches a talk series that seeks to creat spaces not just for performance but also for necessary dialogue.

Producing an Arts Festival: A Sharing of Best Practices Learn the ins and outs of festival produciton from various international and local producers. From dealing with government censorship to creating a festival line up with more than a hundered artists. This talk aims to give people an insight on what goes on behind the scenes from a production perspective. Panelists include Jonathan Pitts of the Chicago Improv Festival, Kim Tan of the Singapore Improv Festival, Curt Mabry of the Shanghai Improv Festival, and Gabe Mercado of the Manila Improv Festival with special participation of Junjun Sabalburro
