Filipino Youth Volunteer Convention 8:00 AM

The Filipino Youth Volunteer Convention is a collaboration by United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) student volunteers, and Y-PEER Philippines. It’s a 1-day event that aims to inform about the current situations in the country, promote actions they can do as youth volunteers, and network with different sectors to instill a holistic collaboration. This year’s focus is the activation of the #GenerationUnlimited. We are honing the volunteers of tomorrow.

There will be an NGO fair where delegates can check their advocacy campaigns, as well as their volunteer programs. There will also be a plenary session, workshops, and breakout sessions throughout the day.

To end the event, we will have a benefit concert to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism, and activate the call to action.

This year's agenda is the localisation of UNICEF's Young People's Agenda, which was launched by the famous K-Pop band, BTS, at the UN Headquarters last September. The agenda aims to ensure that every young person is in education, learning, training, or employment by 2030.
